Uzo Aduba Unveils Jaw-Dropping Transformation After ‘Orange is the New Black’ Departure From Netflix

Uzo Aduba Transforms From Prisoner to Diva After Orange Is The New Black
Fans of the acclaimed television series ‘Orange Is The New Black’ revel in the sudden transformation of actress Uzo Aduba, who donned the character of ‘Crazy Eyes’ throughout the show’s seven season run.

Set in the Litchfield Federal Penitentiary in the United States, the show was written by Jenji Kohan and based on Piper Kerman’s best-selling memoir – ‘Orange Is The New Black, A Chronicle of My Year in a Women’s Federal Prison’.

The series tells the stories of various female prisoners and features comedic elements, drama and action – all covered under the watchful eye of Kohan and her team of writers.

The star-studded cast included Uzo Aduba (Suzanne Warren), Laura Prepon (Alex Vause), Taylor Schilling (Piper Chapman) and Daniel Brooks (‘Taystee’) – all of whom were trapped in the prison cage, awaiting release.

But no one has seen a transformation as stark as Aduba’s. Away from the bars of Litchfield, Aduba appears unrecognizable, sporting a glamorous salmon-pink suit, glitzy high heels and a bow – a true diva that is capturing hearts of fans of the show.

Aduba, who is happily married in real-life, is miles away from the troubled Warren and her love poems for her ‘Dandelion’ – an innocent character whose arc ended on an unexpected yet bittersweet moment.

Though the show may be over, Orange Is The New Black has served to remind us of the challenging experiences faced by inmates in prison and the incredible transformation that can be achieved by those who have the courage and strength to reach it.
