Uri Geller Apologizes as Kadabra Returns to Pokémon Card Game

**Uri Geller Apologizes to The Pokémon Company, Kadabra Cards to Return in June 2023**

Uri Geller, the British-Israeli illusionist, recently announced that The Pokémon Company will launch the first Kadabra card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game on June 16, 2023, allowing fans of the trading card game and the saga to reunite with one of the most iconic creatures.

The Kadabra cards were originally banned back 2002 due to the similarity between the creature’s Japanese characters and Geller’s name, as well as its power to bend spoons with its mind – which was a reference to Geller’s own powers. However, Geller has now apologized for the dispute and has released his exclusive ban on Pokémon.

The new expansion will also feature the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple in the TCG on March 31, 2023. It will include cover Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon, and the starter Pokémon Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

The return of Kadabra to the Pokémon Trading Card Game is certainly welcome news and is anticipated by many fans who are excited to rediscover the first generation of Pokémon.
