Bit Planet Games has surprised fans by announcing that Ultrawings 2 is now available for PlayStation VR2. The game was originally planned for release last year but had to be delayed until 2024. Now, players can purchase Ultrawings 2 on the PS Store for 19.99 euros.

Ultrawings 2 was first announced in 2021 and released in 2022 for the Meta Quest and PC VR headsets. It is an aerial simulation game where players complete various missions to earn money, which can then be used to purchase new airships as they explore an open world in the sky.

The announcement of Ultrawings 2 for PlayStation VR2 comes as the platform is approaching its one-year anniversary. This news also follows a recent Q&A on Reddit where Cameron Brown, CCO and co-founder of Rec Room, revealed that there were no plans to port Rec Room to PlayStation VR2 due to the high costs involved.
