Tom Hardy’s Venom: Scene Deleted from First Film & Third Film Already in Pre-Production

Tom Hardy has shared a deleted scene from the first Venom movie, showcasing his acting chops without any movie magic as Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote battle for control. Now, with the third Venom movie officially in pre-production, Kelly Marcel has been confirmed as the third director in the series, taking over from Ruben Fleischer and Andy Serkis. In June 2022, Hardy appeared to confirm that the Venom 3 script was finished, though he did not reveal anything else about the project.

The stakes are high for Venom 3, as it could have huge implications for the film franchise and the MCU, with a potential crossover teased in Venom: There Will Be Carnage and Spider-Man: No Way Home. When the first Venom movie released, it was praised for Tom Hardy’s performance, but criticized for its editing and script. The film’s success was further cemented with the second installment, Venom: There Will Be Carnage, which earned impressive numbers at the box office.
