The Power Series Set to Premiere on : Release Date and Streaming Platforms Announced

The highly anticipated adaptation of Naomi Alderman’s novel “The Power” is set to premiere on Friday, March 31 on Prime Video, and will feature stars such as Toni Collette, Alice Eve, John Leguizamo, and Auli’i Cravalho. The series follows teenagers from around the world who suddenly develop the ability to electrocute people, throwing the world into chaos and affecting everyone differently. While the series will consist of nine episodes, only the first three will be available on the day of its release. The rest will be released weekly, with the final episode set to air on May 12.

Prime Video offers a monthly plan of S/16.99 and can be used on a range of devices including Smart TVs, Station 4s, tablets, laptops, and smartphones. The series is produced by showrunner Raelle Tucker (known for “True Blood” and “Jessica Jones”) and boasts an impressive cast, which includes Toni Collette as Mayor Margot Cleary-Lopez, John Leguizamo as Rob Lopez, and Auli’i Cravalho as Jos Cleary-Lopez, among others.

Naomi Alderman, the author of the original novel, won the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction in 2017, and has also published other works such as “Disobedience,” “The Lessons,” and “The Liars’ Gospel.” The trailer for “The Power” has also been released, giving audiences a taste of what to expect from this thrilling and captivating series.
