After teasing his followers on social media, director of The Flash, Andy Muschietti, has given a sneak peek of the soundtrack that will accompany Michael Keaton’s reprisal of Batman. The importance of music in any Batman appearance cannot be overstated, and Muschietti is well aware of this. The videos shared on Instagram serve as a hint at what’s to come in The Flash, where Keaton will play Batman for the first time since 1992. Ben Affleck’s last appearance as the Dark Knight will also be in the film, making for an exciting DC crossover event.
The Flash, starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, is set to restart the DC universe on the big and small screens, with James Gunn and Peter Safran heading its production. Gunn will also direct Superman: Legacy, the starting point for this new phase of the DC Universe.
Fans of Batman and the DC Universe will have plenty to look forward to as the new era kicks off with The Flash and Superman: Legacy. Meanwhile, we can all enjoy Muschietti’s teasing glimpses of what sounds like an epic soundtrack for a fan-favorite character’s return to the big screen.
