The Day Before Disappears from Steam and is Delayed Amid Surreal Circumstances
The Day Before MMO Video Game Delayed due to Trademark Issue
Online survival video game, The Day Before, has been highly anticipated by MMORPG lovers for this year. However, it has been delayed due to a trademark issue that has been brought up by its developers, FNTASITC. The game’s page on Steam has been taken down for the time being and the studio has confirmed that it will be released on November 30, 2021 instead of March 1 this year.
Due to the upcoming delay, players can expect to experience an open-world survival MMO set in a post-pandemic America. The world is plagued by infected people and survivors who are killing each other to get food, weapons and cars. The studio made the decision to postpone the game till this year so they could make the jump to Unreal Engine 5.
A statement released by the developers on Twitter read: “It was the Valve store itself that removed it. The reason? That a person already had the name of the game registered.”
Despite the slight setback, the game is still planned to arrive this year, but we will have to wait a bit longer, till November 30.
