The highly anticipated Super Mario Bros: The Movie is finally arriving in theaters this April 5th, two days earlier than originally planned. Fans of the iconic Nintendo franchise will be able to enjoy a celebration of all things Mario, with the movie featuring characters and references from Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., the original live-action Mario series, and more. Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and starring Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Sebastian Maniscalco, the movie follows the classic plot of Mario and Luigi travelling through an underground maze to defeat Bowser. A special Nintendo Direct event will be held on March 9th to show the final trailer of the film, which is sure to offer the best look yet at this exciting new movie. With its release date now moved up two days, fans won’t have to wait much longer to experience the world of Super Mario on the big screen.
