Sony is reportedly offering refunds to customers who own the digital version of The Last of Us Part 2 on PlayStation 4 and purchased the PlayStation 5 remaster at full price. A message circulating online indicates that customers in this specific situation are eligible for a refund, with the option to upgrade for 10 euros. The message also assures customers that they will receive all bonuses included in the original reservation.
Some PlayStation owners have reported that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is unavailable on the PlayStation Store for those who own the PS4 version. This may have led to purchases of the PS5 version by those who were unaware of the update. The remastered version of The Last of Us Part 2 was released on January 19 for PS5. In a review of the game, it was noted that the new version is plagued with bugs and only offers a few improvements thanks to the No Return mode.
Players can also expect new t-shirts in The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, one of which has caused concern among Killzone fans. Earlier this week, Naughty Dog’s Matthew Gallant expressed confusion over fans’ “dismay” regarding the announcement of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.
