The much-awaited DC Comics film, “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” has finally hit theaters around the world, with its sequel led by Zachary Levi. Like other superhero films, this movie has two post-credit scenes that provide clues about what’s coming in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). For those who have not seen the film yet, be forewarned that spoilers lie ahead.
The first scene shows John Economos and Emilia Harcourt discussing their plans to recruit Billy Batson (Shazam) to join the Justice Society of America (JSA). Initially, Billy accepts their offer, but later learns that he misunderstood and thought it was the Justice League.
In the second scene, we see Doctor Sivana, a villain from the first movie, locked up in a cell, visited by Mister Mind, an intellectual worm. Sivana mentions that he has been working on something that could restore them to the height of their power.
“Shazam! Fury of the Gods” premiered in Peru on Thursday, March 16, 2023. The sequel lasts for two hours and promises to captivate audiences with its action-packed scenes.
The plot of the film centers on the daughters of Atlas seeking revenge against Billy and his adoptive brothers, whom they believe stole their parents’ powers. Billy must protect the earth once again, but his life as a superhero is still causing him problems.
