Dog Receives College Diploma
Every dog has its day, and for one service pup named Justin, it came with a cap, gown, and college diploma. Justin received a diploma from Seton Hall University alongside his owner, Grace Mariani, on Monday, May 25, 2023.
Mariani, a resident of Mahwah, New Jersey, earned her Bachelor of Science in Education degree in elementary and special education with Justin by her side. The service dog attended all of her classes, providing assistance and support.
During the graduation ceremony at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, Mariani and Justin were joined on stage by Seton Hall’s Joseph E. Nyre to receive their diplomas. The fellow graduates of the Class of 2023 cheered on the special duo, marking the moment with joy and celebration.
As they embark on their next journey together, Mariani and Justin will undoubtedly continue to make a positive impact and inspire others. Congratulations to the extraordinary team on their incredible achievement!
