Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance celebrates 10th Anniversary with Concept Art Reveal
It’s only few weeks away from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’s tenth birthday, one of the most acclaimed game spin-offs of the saga created by Hideo Kojima. To commemorate this milestone, Platinum Games, the studio responsible for titles such as Bayonetta 3 and NieR: Automata, will have the celebratory event on February 21st, announcing concept art through the official Platinum Games Twitter.
The Raiden actor, Quinton Flynn, involved in Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance previously, sparked the talks with his response regarding a possible sequel. On January 17th, while talking with a fan, he declined to comment, but left an anticipation with “Stay tuned for things to be announced in the coming weeks.”
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, a full-blooded action game, was initially released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 generation. The title is backward compatible on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, as well as available for PC.
On the other hand, Konami has not commented this much about the future of Metal Gear, but somehow it has been keeping up – After agreeing a collaboration from Bloober Team to work on the remake of Silent Hill 2, other upcoming titles in the franchise include Silent Hill F from NeoBards Entertainment, a small project from Neo Code and Observation – Silent Hill Townfall.
