Real Madrid has some good news to share. Modric and Kepa have returned to the group, and now Vinicius has been seen on the field as well. The Brazilian was spotted doing solo ball exercises during training, indicating that his recovery is progressing well. Vinicius sustained an injury while playing for Brazil during the last national team break, tearing the biceps femoris with involvement of the distal tendon in his left leg in a match against Colombia. Since then, he has been working on his recovery and today was the first time he touched the ball again.
Despite his progress, Vinicius is not expected to return until 2024. The main goal is for him to be ready for the Spanish Super Cup, with hopes that he could be available for the match against Atlético de Madrid. However, the club is not willing to take any risks with his return, or with the other injured players. None of them are expected to return to competition until next year. Tchouaméni and the Brazilian may be the first to make a comeback, but the club is taking a cautious approach, saying “Without haste, but without pause,” and assuring that everything is going according to plan regarding the injuries.
In other news, Jude Bellingham has returned to training with the rest of his teammates after spending the last two days training in the gym. This morning, he joined the group and will be available for the upcoming match against Betis, along with Modric who will be making a reappearance after two absences.
