Power Rangers Return with Video Preview Showcasing Stars
Rangers Reunite For Power Rangers: Once & Always Special!
Fans of the classic 90s television series will enjoy a new story with old flavors. Netflix will be streaming the all-new stand-alone special; Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always on April 19th!
The original stars of the show Walter E. Jones, David Yost, Steve Cardenas, Johnny Yong Bosch, Karan Ashley, and Catherine Sutherland will be making a comeback alongside an ominous synopsis. The story reads, “in the middle of a global crisis, they are called once again to be the heroes the world needs.”
It’s still a mystery as to if there will be any other cameos besides the original stars, but some stars won’t be coming back for a reunion. Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly, the original Pink Power Ranger) declined their offer but wished her friends good luck.
Since the day of shooting the special, one more star is no longer around to take part in the reunion. Jason David Frank (Tommy) passed away and it’s unclear if he will still make an appearance in the Green or White Power Ranger suit. On top of that, John St. Austin (Red Power Ranger) was arrested for fraud and it’s still unknown if he will ever suit up as Red Power Ranger again.
Fans can get hype, as the original cast reunite and dive into an action-packed global crisis. They will bring back the nostalgia of the Nineties and lead in the new generation of Power Rangers.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always will be streaming globally on Netflix April 19.
