OPI Mourns Loss of Popular White Shades
OPI, the popular nail polish brand, took to social media to mourn the loss of their most popular white shades after an article published in Glamour jokingly claimed that “Vanderpump Rules” star Tom Sandoval ruined white nail polish by making it his staple manicure color. The brand’s TikTok account posted photos of their nail polish bottles with the caption “RIP Funny Bunny” and “RIP Alpine Snow.” Social media users applauded the brand’s “feral” energy, while some suggested they rename the shades after popstar Ariana Grande.
Nails Inc Releases New White Shade
Not to be left out of the drama, Nails Inc released a brand new white shade called “For Everyone But Tom Sandoval Nail Polish” in response to the controversy. The $9 polish was released on Thursday, after Sandoval went on a social media tirade over the Glamour article. Screenshots of the article were shared on his Instagram, and he called it “a disgusting, trashy, hateful & bias article.
Sandoval Called Out for Infidelity
Sandoval’s outrage over criticism of his white nail polish was not well-received by all, especially considering the fact that he was recently outed for cheating on his girlfriend of nearly a decade with her best friend, Raquel Leviss. Many on social media were quick to point out the irony of Sandoval calling out someone’s character after his own infidelity was exposed. The fallout from his affair, dubbed Scandoval, was captured on “Vanderpump Rules” and played out during the reunion episodes.
