**North Korea Condemns US Tank Shipment to Ukraine**
Kim Yo-jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, condemned the shipment of tanks by the United States to Ukraine and said Washington was “crossing a red line.” Kim Yo-jong said in a statement carried by the North’s state news agency KCNA that the US has made “a special contribution to continue the unstable world crisis and to make clearer its confrontational position against Russia.”
She added that “the world would be brighter, safer and calmer if it weren’t for the US. They are a criminal who poses a serious threat and challenge to Russia’s strategic security and pushes the regional situation to the current grave phase.”
Pyongyang’s comment came after the US sent 31 M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine earlier this week. Germany also gave the green light to send two battalions of its own and other European Leopard 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine.
