Bam Margera’s Estranged Wife Responds to Claims She’s Keeping Him From Son
Nicole Boyd, the estranged wife of “Jackass” star Bam Margera, has hit back at his claims that she is preventing him from seeing their 5-year-old son Phoenix. Court documents obtained by TMZ indicate that Margera asked for an earlier court hearing to be scheduled in their legal separation case, alleging that Boyd is not allowing him to spend time with their child. However, Boyd has filed her own documents asserting that she is abiding by current custody orders and allowing Margera to see Phoenix as long as he is sober and in California.
According to Boyd’s attorney, Margera left Boyd no choice but to take legal separation proceedings when his behavior around their son began to give her cause for concern. She claims that Margera has placed himself “3,000 miles away after exposing the child to abuse and drug/alcohol abuse.”
Margera is also disputing the legality of their marriage, insisting that they have “never been married, legally or otherwise.” Boyd filed for legal separation in February of this year and requested legal and physical custody of Phoenix as well as spousal support.
