EA to remove Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company titles from digital stores

Electronic Arts (EA) has revealed it will delist Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield: Bad Company 1 and 2 from all digital stores on 28 April. This is ahead of the company shutting down their online services on 8 December, which will result in multiplayer features of the games no longer being playable. Players will still be able to access offline features of Bad Company. In a statement on its site, EA said: “While these titles hold a special place in our hearts, we now look forward to making new memories with you as we focus on our current and future Battlefield experiences.” Apex Legends and Battlefield Mobile will also no longer be supported.
