Xbox Confirms E3 2023 Return, Starfield to be Unveiled at Separate Event
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) announced the return of the annual video game conference, E3 2023. Microsoft Xbox has since taken to its official blog, Xbox Wire, to confirm their participation this summer.
The conference will return to Los Angeles from June 13-16, and Microsoft also revealed that the highly anticipated game Starfield from Bethesda Game Studios will have its own presentation at a separate event.
“Our teams are hard at work and looking forward to sharing with fans even more about what’s to come when we return to Los Angeles this summer for our annual conference,” the post read.
Starfield was originally targeted for a November 2022 release, but the studio decided to delay it until 2023 in order to perfect the gameplay experience. Rather than a release on Sony platforms, the Microsoft-owned title will be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. Interestingly, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass at launch.
Finally, the post intimated that work on the highly anticipated The Elder Scrolls VI installment is still in pre-production and awaiting Starfield’s completion.
