Maribel Guardia Demands Justice for Fan Who Was Brutally Murdered While Selling Tacos

Maribel Guardia is mourning the tragic death of one of her fans, Jesús Alejandro Cerda Morales, who was cruelly taken from his family and friends. The 25-year-old had earned the actress and singer’s appreciation with his attention during her visits to Nuevo León, Mexico, where he was from. Guardia took to social media to report the sad news and to ask the authorities for justice so that the crime does not go unpunished.

According to information released by the local press, Cerda Morales was deprived of his liberty on March 19 when he was in a gas station in the city of Monterrey. The family reported him missing as soon as his whereabouts were unknown. However, hours later the lifeless body was found 11 kilometers from the point where it was last seen.

Guardia spoke about Cerda Morales in an extensive post on her Instagram account before the young man’s death speaking fondly of him as a humble man who earned the affection of several colleagues with his attention and details during their visits to Monterrey. “He was a boy who humbly dedicated himself to selling tacos and with that he helped his family. His passion was to welcome all the artists who came home from work, with flowers and chocolates. He was a decent and hard-working boy, his family is devastated,” she continued.

Gloria Trevi, one of the artists who Cerda Morales had proudly boasted photos with on his social media, also expressed her condolences to the young man murdered in Monterrey through her Instagram stories. The tragic event has received an outpouring of support with hundreds of messages supporting Guardia’s petition for justice.

Guardia’s own life is one marked by tragedy, her mother, Doña Rita, died of cancer when she was just nine years old. Her sister Vilma Chacón who took care of her after her mother’s death, became a dear friend and helped her pursue her dreams. Chacón even sold one of her rings to help Guardia buy a dress for a beauty pageant that opened doors for her career. Despite the emotional struggles that Guardia has faced in her own life, she continues to show empathy towards others such as Cerda Morales and his family.
