The Madrid Book Fair 2023 is one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year, which brings together thousands of readers, writers, publishers and booksellers in the El Retiro Park. This year’s edition, number 82, is held from May 26 to June 11 and will have the motto “We are science and letters”, so if you plan to attend it or want to know which booth is going to sign your favorite author, or in fact, know the location of all of them well, it will be good to know the Map of the Madrid Book Fair so you don’t miss a thing.

The Madrid Book Fair 2023 consists of 361 booths in line and 24 in the central area, so if you plan to go to her it will be good if you know the location of the boothss in which you are interested and for this, the organizers have a plan in which you can see the location by number of each booth.

Hours and how to get to the Book Fair

The organization of the Madrid Book Fair 2023 recommends public transport to access the fair. Can arrive in different ways and there are many metro and bus combinations to access the Parque del Retiro.

By subway:

• Atocha station (line 1).
• Ibiza station (line 9).
• Príncipe de Vergara station (lines 2 and 9).
• Retiro station (line 2).

News from the Madrid Book Fair 2023

Finally, we offer you some of the news for this edition:

• There will be no guest country, due to the logistical and health difficulties caused by the pandemic. In its place, homage will be paid to the city of Madrid and to science with a poster created by the author María Simavilla.
• Awnings will be installed along a large part of the Fair routeto protect visitors from the sun and rain.
• is eliminated the public address system of signatures and plans that was given to people to locate the booths, and instead we can find 4 screens, vinyl, QR codes and specific personnel to inform whoever needs it.
• Special attention will be devoted to science and scientific dissemination, with the aim of promoting critical thinking and knowledge. There will be talks, debates, workshops and exhibitions on topics such as climate change, artificial intelligence, health or the universe.
• It will have the participation of more than 300 national and international authors, who will sign their books and have a dialogue with the readers. Some of the confirmed names are Javier Marías, Dolores Redondo, Donna Leon, Manuel Vilas, Elvira Lindo or Luis Landero.
• Lastly, the artist Francisco Ibanezauthor among others of Mortadelo and Filemón, will receive the Loyalty Award from the 2023 Book Fair at 87 years old.
