Liverpool are reportedly looking to add Rafael Leao to their project for the upcoming season. To secure his signing, the Anfield side are reportedly willing to offer AC Milan a player in exchange. Luis Díaz, the Colombian striker for Liverpool, is rumoured to be the player that could be included in the deal. However, Milan are said to prefer a ‘cash-only proposal’ and are reportedly valuing the player between €120 million and €150 million.
Leao has been in impressive form this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 10 assists. Nevertheless, the Liverpool Echo has suggested that it is unlikely that Díaz will be part of the agreement.
Díaz is currently undergoing rehabilitation in order to return to action, with a Portuguese specialist, who has worked with Cristiano Ronaldo, reportedly assisting in his recovery. With the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League against Real Madrid scheduled for March 15, Díaz could be in contention to play in the match.
