Francisco Nicolás Gómez Iglesias, also known as Little Nicolás, is set to have his own documentary series on Netflix called (P)Ícaro: Little Nicolás. The series will tell the story of a young man who started as a simple student and rose to become a prominent figure with alleged connections to the highest levels of Spanish political and economic power. Despite his time in the spotlight, Gómez Iglesias was eventually discovered and accused of various crimes including attempted fraud, usurpation of public functions and marital status, revealing secrets, improper bribery, embezzlement of public funds, and influence peddling.

The synopsis of the show reads: “This is the incredible story of the rise and fall of Little Nicolás, the Spanish rogue who put the government on edge. A young man named Francisco Nicolás Gómez Iglesias who, at just 14 years old, went from working in nightclubs to rubbing shoulders with politicians, businessmen, secret services, and even the Royal Family. A life of business, travel, seduction, palaces, commissions, and parties until his arrest was ordered in 2014. The docuseries addresses unknowns and narrates, through different protagonists and unpublished material, the most controversial moments of his case.

(P)Ícaro: Little Nicolás is a series made up of three episodes directed by Tomás Ocaña and Adolfo Moreno. It is set to arrive on Netflix on February 15, and the trailer is already available for viewing.
