This Sunday, March 19th, Barcelona and Real Madrid will face each other in the 26th match of LaLiga Santander. This Classic of Spain is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and coaches Xavi Hernández and Carlo Ancelotti have been working hard to prepare their line-ups accordingly.
After a week of intense training, the coaches have finalized their starting teams. Barcelona’s line-up will consist of Ter Stegen as goalkeeper, and Araujo, Koundé, Christensen, and Balde as defenders. Busquets, De Jong, and Kessie will play in midfield, while Raphinha, Lewandowski, and Gavi will operate as forwards.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, will field Courtois as goalkeeper, and Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, and Nacho as defenders. Tchouaméni, Kroos, and Modric or Fede Valverde will play in midfield, while Rodrygo, Vinícius, and Benzema will lead the attack.
The last time these two teams met at Camp Nou was on October 24, 2021, with a final score of 2-1 in favor of Real Madrid. David Alaba and Lucas Vásquez scored the goals for the white team, while Sergio Agüero scored for Barcelona. However, the joy was short-lived as the striker had to leave football due to heart problems shortly after his first goal with the cule elastic.
Football fans all over the world are eagerly waiting for the Spanish Classic, and it promises to be an exciting match between two of the biggest teams in football history.
