Kevin Smith recruits Supergirl for Masters of the Universe universe!

Melissa Benoist, the actress behind Supergirl, has been announced as a new addition to the voice cast of Masters of the Universe: Revolution. The upcoming animated series is a sequel to Kevin Smith’s 2021 series titled Revelation. Benoist will lend her voice to the character of Teela, a role previously played by Sarah Michelle Gellar.

“I jumped at the opportunity to work alongside my friend Kevin and join the Revolution family as another bold and intrepid hero,” said Benoist. The signing of the actress has been celebrated by Mattel, and the casting is sure to generate excitement among fans of the franchise.

The original storyline for Revolution focuses on the classic rivalry between He-Man and Skeletor in a new way, with He-Man and his warriors fighting against forces of darkness that threaten their world. The technology and magic of Eternia will collide in this epic chapter of the battle for the planet.
