Actor Jon Bernthal is set to return to his role as Frank Castle (The Punisher) in Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again. The news was confirmed earlier this month and Bernthal himself confirmed the news on his Instagram account with a photo of himself in costume and the caption “Don’t panic!” He also released a short film, “Frank Castle is back,” on his YouTube account. Bernthal will reunite with Charlie Cox, who will once again play Matt Murdock (Daredevil). Despite being a continuation of the Marvel series, Cox confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will have a different tone and a protagonist aimed at a more mature audience, similar to Deadpool. The series began shooting in February and will premiere on Disney+ in spring 2024. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see how Bernthal’s Punisher will fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Daredevil: Born Again.
