Jesse Lee Soffer Confirmed for Role in Chicago PD

Jesse Lee Soffer Back On Set Of Chicago PD In New Role

Jesse Lee Soffer is back on the set of the NBC hit police drama Chicago PD. The character he has been playing since the show’s first season, Jay Halstead, had been fired a few episodes back. Now, veteran actor Jesse Lee Soffer is back again in a completely different role.

Photos posted by the actor on his Instagram confirms the news. Jesse is now donning the director’s hat and will be directing one of the finale episodes of Season 10.

Fans were delighted to know of Soffer’s return and even more so when he posted pictures of himself with a dog, possibly belonging to Chicago Med and Chicago PD costume designer Mallory Sabian, while wearing a winter outfit his character Halstead would certainly approve of.

The showrunner of the police drama, Gwen Sigan, has confirmed that the actor would return with the end of this installment, but not in the way everyone wants.

Soffer’s return behind the camera gives us an insight that the showrunners are sure to bring closure to his story in the Season 10 finale.
