Israeli Air Strike Hits Hamas Facilities, Adversaries Lock in Conflict
On February 2, 2023 – 05:50, the Israeli Army took a significant step in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by launching air strikes at a Hamas rocket production and weapons manufacturing site. This was done in retaliation to the rockets launched from the Gaza strip into Israel.
An Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson stated that their action has “significantly damaged Hamas war facilities,” hampering the organisation’s capacity to acquire weapons. In turn, the rocket launches from the Gaza strip were intercepted by the Israeli Air Defenses, causing no casualties.
The attack is the latest in a series of events escalating the violence in the conflict, which is yet to be resolved.
