Emily Ratajkowski and Irina Shayk were spotted at a Knicks game on Nov. 24, but they left early and missed the thrilling comeback win. The two models were seen leaving their courtside seats with two minutes left in the game, even though the Knicks were able to come back from a 21-point deficit to win the game. It was a big game against Miami in the NBA’s new annual competition, the In-Season Tournament.
The models may have been more interested in taking photos of their outfits and posting on social media than watching the game. Shayk posted pictures of her and Ratajkowski modeling their outfits, including on a forklift somewhere in the bowels of the Garden. When the jumbotron showed them watching the game from center court, the models laughed and waved.
Fans were surprised and disappointed to see the models leave early, especially since coveted floor seats for Knicks games go for thousands of dollars. It’s unclear whether the models will be invited back to future games after leaving early.
This wasn’t the first time Shayk had been at a Knicks game this season, as she was also spotted at another game with fashion designer Riccardo Tisci. However, the models’ early departure from the game has raised questions about their allegiance to the team.
In the past, former Knicks superstar Charles Oakley was banned from MSG after a bizarre dust-up with team owner James Dolan and security staff in the stands in 2017. The ban lasted about a year, and fans may never forgive and forget Oakley’s actions.
Reps for Ratajkowski and Shayk did not comment on the situation.
