The Champions League round of 16 draw is coming up on Monday, December 18, and there are still four spots left to be filled. Let’s take a look at the teams competing for those spots.

In Group A, Copenhagen, Galatasaray, and United are battling it out for the remaining spot. The winner of the match between Copenhagen and Galatasaray will join Bayern in the round of 16 as the second-place team. Manchester United needs to beat Bayern and hope for a draw between Copenhagen and Galatasaray to continue in the Champions League.

Moving on to Group B, Sevilla will play in the Europa League if they beat Lens away. Arsenal and PSV have already secured their spots in the round of 16 as the first and second-place teams, respectively.

In Group C, Braga has a chance to qualify by winning by a difference of two goals on their visit to Naples. A victory by a single goal difference would put the Italians in the knockout phase. Unión Berlin can still access the Europa League if they beat Real Madrid and the Portuguese lose in Naples.

In Group D, Real Sociedad needs a draw at San Siro to secure first place in the group. Benfica can access the Europa League if they win by three goals during their visit to Salzburg.

Group E sees Atlético and Lazio playing for first place at the Metropolitano. Simeone’s team deserves a draw, while Feyenoord will play in the round of 32 of the Europa League.

In Group F, Dortmund has already secured a place in the round of 16. PSG, Newcastle, and Milan are competing for the remaining spot. It will be the French team if they win in Germany and also as first in the group. Newcastle needs PSG to draw or lose at Dortmund, while the Rossoneri need to win and for PSG to lose at Westfallen.

Group G has everything decided, with Manchester City securing first place in the group with full points and being accompanied by Leipzig. Young Boys will travel to the Europa League.

Finally, in Group H, Barcelona will be first in the group if they draw against Antwerp, and even losing could be worth it if Shakhtar does not make up for the seven-goal difference that the Blaugranas have in their favor. Porto needs a draw in Dragao to secure second place.

The draw for the round of 16 promises to be an exciting one, with several teams still vying for a spot in the next stage of the Champions League. Stay tuned for the results on Monday, December 18!
