Gran Turismo 7 to Have No Limitations on PS VR2 Except for Split Screen
Kazunori Yamauchi backs Gran Turismo 7 for PS VR2
Kazunori Yamauchi, president of Polyphony Digital and head of the Gran Turismo 7, has come with details about the version of the game that would launch in PlayStation VR2. Yamauchi excitedly stated, “We are excited that Gran Turismo 7 will be a launch game for PS VR2″.
Through a free update for all the owners, the game would be playable in VR like never before. Utilizing the next-gen capabilities of PlayStation VR2 to its fullest, a complete experience with split screen mode, all races, and a multiplayer environment will be available in virtual reality.
The Japanese creative has also talked about the visual fidelity aiming high with more than 450 cars supported with the help of new eye tracking and fove rendering technologies.
Yamauchi further added, ” the racetracks will be perceived exactly as they are in the real world, from Nürburgring to Tsukuba”.
This news comes after the announcement of 30 million units of PS5 sold worldwide making it the biggest month ever for the console. This plunge in the Virtual Reality world with Gran Turismo 7 would make the PS VR2 experience even more grand.
