GoldenEye 007 Release Date Announced for Xbox and Nintendo Switch Online
GoldenEye 007 set for launch on January 27
The wait is over for the much awaited GoldenEye 007 as its launch on January 27 has been announced. This iconic game will be available on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
From the same day it will be part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription in all its modalities while the Nintendo Switch version is connected to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
Those who have a digital copy of Rare Replay on Xbox will be able to get the game at no additional cost.
This edition of GoldenEye 007 offers different elements depending on which system it is used on. For example, the Nintendo Switch supports online multiplayer for up to 4 players and the ability to run the Nintendo 64 catalog.
The version of Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One supports local multiplayer and runs at 16:9 natively with up to 4K resolution on compatible displays. Other than that, it has full support of achievements and alternative control options.
The launch will take place between January 26-27 in certain territories.
Rare’s canceled remastering of the classic was even able to make its way to the internet through an leaked version of a build in development.
