Sony Pictures has just released an exciting new trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The trailer is full of ancient mysteries, surprising specters, and battles to save the world from a second Ice Age. It’s a thrilling adventure that brings back some of the original Ghostbusters cast, including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts. They join the new Spenglers crew, led by Carrie Coon, along with Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, and Paul Rudd’s Gary Grooberson.

The trailer also features the return of William Atherton as Walter Peck from the 1984 film. It looks like Peck will once again make things difficult for the ghost fighters, but that won’t stop them from using their proton packs to take on an army of ghosts invading New York. The trailer showcases a variety of supernatural entities, both new and old, including a mysterious horned beast, an icy sewer dragon, the creepy library ghost, and the gluttonous Slimer.

Directed by Gil Kenan and co-written by Jason Reitman, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is set to hit theaters on March 22, 2024. Sony moved up its release date by a week, so now it will be released in the same month as Dune, Part Two, Imaginary, and Kung Fu Panda 4.

The film promises to be a nostalgic and thrilling adventure that will appeal to fans of the original Ghostbusters as well as a new generation of moviegoers. With a mix of old and new characters, supernatural creatures, and plenty of action, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is shaping up to be a must-see movie in 2024. So mark your calendars and get ready for an epic battle against the forces of the supernatural.
