The Legend of Zelda saga is known for many things, and one of them is its incredible soundtrack. Link has saved Hyrule to the tune of true works of art, and some of those songs have been so etched in fans’ memories that they only need a couple of notes to recognize them.

The Legend of Zelda Orchestra Concert (LIVE in TOKYO) features iconic pieces from the game. Originally planned as part of the Nintendo Live 2024 TOKYO event, the concert was cancelled. However, it is now available on YouTube for free and lasts approximately half an hour. The concert includes an orchestral performance of the following themes: Tears of the Kingdom: Main Theme (Reprise), The Ballad of the Goddess, Zelda’s Lullaby, Link’s Awakening Medley, 2024 Breath of the Wild: Main Theme, Hyrule Castle, Breath of the Wild: 2017 Nintendo Switch Presentation Trailer, Ocarina of Time: Kakariko Village, and The Legend of Zelda Main Theme.

The video features live musicians playing along with images of the saga on screen, creating a perfect formula to evoke emotion and nostalgia. One of the most exciting pieces is the one that accompanied the reveal of Breath of the Wild in 2017, which is considered one of the best trailers in history.

Breath of the Wild began a new trajectory and style that Tears of the Kingdom perfected last year. In a review of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it was given a 10/10 and described as a game that not only looks one of the most influential titles of the last 10 years in the face, but has managed to rise above it. The concert is a half hour full of emotion and nostalgia, and is a must-watch for any fan of The Legend of Zelda.
