Euro Reaches $1.09 Against US Dollar on ECB Decisions

On January 27, 2023, the euro traded around $1.09 against the US dollar by 4 p.m. GMT. This is a slight increase compared to its final trading of $1.0875 on the previous day.

The European Central Bank (ECB) set the reference exchange rate of the euro at $1.0865, predicting the decisions to come from their guide rates and the euro zone’s advancement. Market expectations were based on the decisions made by president Christine Lagarde.

The euro was exchanged in a fluctuation band between $1.0838 and $1.0895. However, redistribution or partial redistribution of the EFE services contents is prohibited, without the prior and explicit consent of Agencia EFE SA.
