EA Sports has revealed the release date and all related details about their upcoming sports title EA Sports PGA Tour. This game aims to bring players the experience of playing golf in the most important tournaments and golf courses in the world, combined with the fantasy of playing in the best events on the best courses and bringing golf championships with maximum authenticity.
Meristation had the opportunity to know the ins and outs of this game which can be powered by Frostbite. The PGA Tour Pillars are established with 4 pillars to bring the golf best championship. It will include different tournaments like PGA Championship, US Open, The Open and The Masters and other events on the PGA circuit such as the FedEx Cup Playoffs and The Amundi Evian Championship, with impressive shots and visualizations in-game.
Unique courses are recreated with fidelity thanks to the Frostbite graphics engine and can be seen across a total of 30 golf courses at launch. The developers have worked to bring the most minute details of these golf courses with the help of geologists.
Players can play as PGA and LPGA Pros as detailed visuals are captured with the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Nelly Korda. The Pure Strike technology is devised to bring an authentic and immersive gaming experience with data sources like ShotLink and Tackman to guarantee precision.
EA Sports PGA Tour has a career mode which allows players to make meaningful decisions on the road to the tournaments. It will arrive on March 24, 2023 on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and PC, with two different editions- Standard edition and the Digital Deluxe edition, along with pre-sale bonuses. The game will also have updates related to the big tournaments with which it is licensed and also have new challenges, golf courses, online tournaments and equipment.
