EA Sports PGA Tour Announces Final Date, Prepares for Golf Majors

EA Sports PGA Tour finally gets official release date for March 24, 2023

EA Sports PGA Tour leaves behind all the doubts and announces its final launch date: March 24, 2023. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and EA App).

EA Sports cements its commitment to offering an unprecedented golf experience by inlcuding several licensed courses like the major ones of 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions and 30 additional courses in total.

The title will feature four exclusively major men’s golf players who will compete in US Open Championship, The Open, the PGA Championship and the Masters Tournament. The Road to the Masters mode will include challenges, tournaments and unique equipments linked to the tournament.

Career mode is also added to the package with The Players Championship and the FedExCup Playoffs including TrackMan data analysis, which in real life measures the flight of the balls in 3D format and analyzes each swing to know what your room for improvement is.

The list of licenses is further extended as Ladies Professional Golf Association and The Amundi Evian Championship have also come onboard. Players from the women’s circuit and customisable avatars are now included. Not to forget Iona Stephen will be the first female commentator in the field.

The reservations for the game will open on January 19, EA Play subscribers will get early access of 10 hours from March 21 and those with Pro subscription will be able to access the final version on the same day. The game is developed in EA Tiburon Orlando and Madrid headquarters.
