Age Of Empires II: Definitive Edition Comes To Xbox Consoles
Microsoft’s widely-acclaimed strategy classic, Age of Empires II, is making its debut onto Xbox consoles with an optimized version. Titled Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, players can enjoy the game in two different modes: either with a controller or a keyboard and mouse.
To cater to the players’ different experiences, the studio has developed control solutions, button combinations and shortcuts to access the needs of your army. For example, to select all the units of the same type, the player must press “A” twice. If the player wishes to deselect something, they can press “B”. The crosshead also accessed villagers, combat units and the center of the city. The sticks are designed to imitate the mouse, as the left stick controls the cursor and the right stick controls the camera.
Players have the option to adjust some repetitive job orders with artificial intelligence. On the action wheel, players can adjust villager priorities. The interface has had an overhaul, now being more friendly with televisions and controller support. Texts, panels and resources appear larger with easy access.
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition offers a classic gaming experience, where players can enjoy it with a keyboard and mouse or with a controller. It is an excellent transfer of the popular formula that promises to bridge the gap between PC and Xbox console gaming.
