The Last of Us Podcast Discusses Series Second Episode & Possibility of Second Season
HBO Max’s series based on the successful Naughty Dog game, The Last of Us, released its second episode recently. The episode stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as protagonists Joel and Ellie and is mostly faithful to the source material.

However, series creator Neil Druckman advised all actors not to look at the games, prefering them to give their own interpretation of the characters. According to Druckman, “The great performance comes from within and not without”, as he encouraged the cast to include all aspects that were necessary.

Bella Ramsey, who had commented on a possible second season earlier to BBC, has assured that ”if people continue to watch it, that’s quite a problem there is a second season”. So far, the series has broken viewership records and caused sales of the game to skyrocket.

HBO Max has yet to rule on a possible renewal of the series. Fans can read FreeGameTips review of the first four episodes.
