Capcom has released a fun and quirky anime trailer for the upcoming horror game, Resident Evil 4 Remake. The one-minute video, titled “Leon and the Mysterious Town,” follows protagonist Leon Kennedy on his search for the missing daughter of US President Ashley Graham. Produced by acclaimed Japanese studio Nippon Animation, the trailer features their classic World Masterpiece Theater series style. However, the lighthearted tone takes a sharp turn in the end, offering a disturbing twist that promises to keep players on the edge of their seats.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake anime trailer is the latest addition to the game’s pre-launch marketing campaign, which includes a web page with puzzles, riddles, and a wealth of information about the expected title. The game is set to release on March 24, 2023, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game is the continuation of the recent Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, which have received critical acclaim for preserving the original game’s core elements while adding updated gameplay and visual improvements.
