British band Bloc Party is celebrating 20 years in the music industry. In preparation for an outdoor show at the Crystal Palace in London in July, the band has made their 2004 EP Little Thoughts available on streaming platforms for the first time. This EP was originally released only in Japan and includes the singles “Little Thoughts” and “Helicopter” as well as the B-sides “Tulips”, “Storm and Stress”, “Skeleton”, and a remix of “Tulips” by Minotaur Shock.

Last December, Bloc Party announced their plans to upload all the missing songs from their catalog to streaming platforms throughout 2024. The band expressed their excitement about making every song, remix, and EP available to their fans.

The band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed debut album Silent Alarm on July 7 at London’s Crystal Palace. This show will be their biggest yet, and they plan to perform all the songs from the album. The opening acts for the show will include Friendly Fires, The Hives, The Mysterines, and Connie Constance. Additionally, Bloc Party has confirmed two more dates for 2024: July 4 in Belfast and the following day in Dublin.

Frontman Kele Okereke expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming shows, stating that they want to do something special for both old and new fans to celebrate 20 years of Bloc Party. The band is looking forward to the opportunity to connect with their audience and share their music with a wider audience.
