#### Attack on Venezuelan Outlet’s Office in Trujillo State
On January 23rd, 2023, the office of the Venezuelan outlet Palpitar Trujillano was attacked with stones and Molotov cocktails by hooded people, according to a message posted on Twitter by the outlet. Photographs showed the broken glass and rocks inside the infrastructure. National Union of Press Workers (SNTP) indicated that the attack occurred around two in the morning (06:00 GMT), when the office was unoccupied. The outlet reported that, last December, they had experienced four computer attacks that restricted their ability to share content on social networks. Palpitar Trujillano is a digital medium that focuses on coverage of community news and other events in the Trujillo state, where print newspapers have been extinct for years.
