“Don Goyo,” as the Popocatépetl volcano is known, continues to spew ash, causing chaos at Mexico City’s international airport and keeping millions across the country on alert for a possible eruption. At least the 25 million people who live within a radius of 100 kilometers from the crater are on alert due to the volcanic activity that has been recorded.
