The Civil Guard has arrested this Wednesday in Mallorca a Lukas Kwasniok, former footballer and Polish coach of the Paderbornof the German second division, for an alleged sexual assault on a 25 year old girl in a hotel in the Mallorcan tourist town of Cala Rajada.
According to local press reports, Kwasniok, 41, met the complainant, a German national, on the beach in Capdepera last Monday. Both agreed that they would see each other at night in the hotel room of the German coach, where the sexual assault, according to the victim’s account, version that the defendant denies when referring to the intimate encounter as “consensual”.
Members of the Capdepera Local Police and the Civil Guard detained the Polish technician, a nationalized German, and took him to thes Manacor courtswhere the judge, after hearing his account of the events, has ordered his release with charges, according to the newspaper Last minute in its digital edition.
“He has proved us right”
His club, the Paderborn, has been reporting on this shady matter through its official channels. «We discovered that Lukas Kwasniok is detained in Mallorca. At the moment, however, we do not have enough information to evaluate and comment on the matter,” they began by saying with complete transparency.
Soon after, he issued a statement announcing Kwasniok’s release. “Lukas Kwasniok is released unconditionally. He will return to Germany tomorrow. We are pleased that the matter was cleared up so quickly!” In Germany they have also spoken with the coach’s lawyer, Maria Barbancho, who ensures that the “content of the court’s decision is clear and has proved us right.”
This Wednesday, SC Paderborn trained behind closed doors and without their top manager. The German team led by Lukas Kwasniok currently is fifth ranked and this weekend they face FC Nürnberg in the last day of the championship.
