OSCE Demands Russia End Conflict in Ukraine’s East

North Macedonia Urges Russia From Ukraine

North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani urged Russia today to end the war and withdraw its troops from Ukraine during a joint press conference along with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

“I am now here as president [de turno] of the OSCE and I call on Russia to end this war, to withdraw its forces and troops from Ukraine and also to show its commitment to the values and principles of the OSCE and return to the diplomatic track,” he said.

Osmani reiterated that Ukraine will remain the top priority during the Macedonian OSCE chairmanship and condemned the new Russian aggressions against the country, including the recent missile attack against a residential building in Dnipro, which has left at least forty dead.

Kuleba stressed the need to exclude Russia as a member of the OSCE, as it systematically destroys every letter of the Final Act of Helsinki since the start of the war of aggression against Ukraine.

To further underline the urgency of the situation, Osmani also visited areas destroyed by Russian missiles, warning that the OSCE is not currently present in Donbas, so any vehicles carrying the Organization’s logo are false.
