Hogwarts Legacy, the highly anticipated open-world action-RPG adventure game set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter prequel universe, is releasing in a week from now. With so much will then here are five interesting facts about the game that you’ll love to know!
The timeline of the game is set at the end of the 19th century, around 100 years prior to Harry Potter’s saga. Fantasy Beasts trilogy already defined the magical world in 20th century but with Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll explore a different ancient and mysterious path of magic.
The game is player centric wherein an eleven-year-old contestant (character created by the player) enters Hogwarts in their fifth year, gifted with ancient-magical abilities and ties to the mysterious Forbidden Forest.
The game also features Victor Rookwood, a powerful dark-wizard and Rankok, a goblin known for his hatred for wizards. This Goblin Rebellion is sure to kindle the interest of the players!
Phineas Nigellus Black, one of the most unpopular Hogwarts headmasters in its history, is also a part of the game. As official description says, “He is curmudgeon, lazy and vain, of pure blood and with an altered vision of the world”.
The Room of Requirement, where Dumbledore’s army gathered in the Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, is also customizable as per the user. Various charming furnishing can be bought with HogwartsMade, allowing you to transform the room, perfect your magical abilities, knit clothes and make powerful potions.
Hogwarts Legacy will launch on the 10th of February on the PlayStation 5, List Series X, Xbox Series S and PC platforms. The previous-gen version will release on April 4th and Nintendo Switch version will be available from July 25th.
