2024 Copa America Host Stadiums: NFL and MLS Venues Revealed

News Team

The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) has announced the 14 NFL and MLS stadiums that will host the Copa America 2024, to be played between June 20 and July 14, 2024. Each venue will host an average of two to three matches. The inaugural game will be played in Atlanta.

The venues were divided into three regions: East, Central, and West to host the 10 countries that make up Conmebol and six Concacaf representatives, including the reigning champions of both confederations, Argentina and Mexico, respectively. This format is similar to that of the 2016 Centenario Gold Cup.

This will be the second time that the tournament will be held outside South and Central America and formally opened to the entire continent since in the 1990s two Concacaf countries participated recurrently but as guests. With this format, 32 matches will be played over 25 days of competition.

Until last week, CONMEBOL had confirmed that the opening match will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, home of the Atlanta Falcons. The final will be played at the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins in Miami Gardens, Florida.
