2 “Game of Thrones” Prequels That Could Outdo the “House of the Dragon” Series
Game of Thrones Franchise Expands with Prequels
HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones came to an end four years ago and did not leave its fans satisfied. Now, the show is being extended with two prequels spin-offs that could be better than House of the Dragons.
House of the Dragon, a prequel set 200 years before the TV series, has already been filmed, and season 2 of the prequel is expected to come out in 2024.
George RR Martin, the creator of the Game of Thrones franchise, shared updates about other spin-offs based his novels. Fans are now wanting to see an adaptation of King Aegon I the Conqueror and his dragon Balerion, and the first Blackfire Rebellion.
The King Aegon I series will cover his daring campaign to become the sole ruler of Westeros, while the Blackfire Rebellion is a war between King Daeron II Targaryen and his half-brother, Daemon I Blackfyre.
It’s clear there is a lot to tell in this universe, and hopefully it will all reach the small screens in the next ten years.
