Every week we feature adoptable pets from across Alaska. To the best of our knowledge, each pet is still available, and we encourage you to follow the links to find out more about these animals and the shelters that are caring for them.

“Lyle is about five years old. He was raised in a local puppy mill, and before we rescued him the only life he knew was being trapped in a kennel. This lack of exposure to the world means poor little Lyle is easily overwhelmed, and will need a quiet, peaceful home where he can slowly adjust to his new life.”

“Handsome short haired boy–Sebastian! He is spunky and bright, curious and playful, everything a youngster should be. He LOVES to play with other cats, okay with dogs. He would be fun for a nice child and another playful kitty. He does need a place to go outside that’s safe where he can romp and race with his friends.”

“Eiko has been in the hands of the wrong people in her prior life. Thankfully we have been able to find her an amazing foster dad who has rehabilitated her into the perfect well behaved girl. She does wonderful off leash at the dog park with all dogs. She’s grown to love and trust people again and loves kids. She is however a little over excited when playing with kids so we are asking for a home with older kids.”
