Take Me Home Tonight: Adoptable Pets from Alaska Shelters

Every week we feature adoptable pets from across Alaska. To the best of our knowledge, each pet is still available, and we encourage you to follow the links to find out more about these animals and the shelters that are caring for them.

Anchorage Animal Care & Control Center

Timmy is quick to purr and will knead like mad when you visit with him. This friendly fellow prefers petting to playing and soaks up any attention–though isn’t a bit needy or demanding. Timmy will look to you so earnestly for pets that you won’t be able to resist him. Love sponge extraordinaire!

Wiley is a handsome boy. A tad bit shy but that soon disappears when he gets to know you. This one year-old husky is energetic and loves to play with other dogs. Good on a leash. A great all around dog.

Nova is another orange cat we have here at the shelter. They say they are rare and yet we currently have two of them here at the same time. Both are super nice and love to be loved.
